~Paraffin Dip~
Choose to have either your hands or feet dipped into warmed wintergreen fragrant paraffin for a real treat.  Hands and feet feel smooth and luscious, not rough.    $5-$10

~Ear Candling~
This natural and holistic treatment is used to alleviate the pain and pressure associated with sinusitis, allergies, middle-ear infections and hearing difficulties.  This treatment is accompanied by a facial massage and helps remove old ear wax, relieves pressure and clears inner ear blockages.
$40 for a half hour

Entree Therapies

For $70 per hour your massage may include the following techniques.  All these techniques are powerful, useful, competent ways to awaken the body and mind to make the subtle changes to reset itself to a higher level of function.

~Swedish Massage~
This soothing massage stimulates circulation, flushes toxins, eases muscle aches and relieves tension by using long, slow strokes to the superficial layers of your muscles.

~Deep Tissue Massage~
Deep pressure is incorporated in this Swedish style massage to break up adhesions and relieve muscle stiffness.

~Neuromuscular Therapy Massage~
Using deep tissue massage techniques, this massage incorporates clinical adjustments for
treating painful areas such as TMJ, whiplash, and planters fascia.

~Reflexology~
From ancient times we stimulated reflexes naturally by walking barefoot over rocks and used our hands more often in our work.  Hand and foot reflexology restores nature’s balance by relieving tension, improving circulation and promoting natural health and vitality.

~CranioSacral Therapy~
CranioSacral Therapy is a technique that works with the membrane system of the brain and the cerebral spinal fluid in the dural tube (spine). CST can help several ailments including migraine headaches, chronic fatigue, orthopaedic problems, stress and tension.  A session generally lasts one hour and the patient only has to relax on the massage table, fully clothed to receive the benefits.
 
~Manual Lymph Drainage~
This technique works with the body's recycling system to get rid of waste materials and excess fluid in the tissues. It also is a very gentle technique using light pressure following the flow of the lymph fluid in the tissues. It is especially useful in pre- and post-surgical treatment to keep the lymph fluid levels lower, reducing the pain often experienced after cosmetic or other surgical procedures. It is really great for reducing facial puffiness and swelling on an everyday basis.

~OrthoBionomy®~
 OrthoBionomy®is another gentle, non-invasive way to approach the body using the direction of ease with slight compression. The central nervous system then responds through the stretch receptors to activate a new pattern without pain.

~Reiki~
Reiki is an old healing form that uses Universal Energy to heal. Often compared to "Laying on of Hands" it follows the patterns of the meridians in Chinese Medicine and uses intention and the power of love and prayer to facilitate change in the body.

~Geratric Massage~
The most important and neglected need for the elderly is tactile stimulation   Geriatric massage is very beneficial for many reasons.  It softens hardened muscle and connective tissues, relaxes the mind, stimulates the nervous system and increases circulation.    Conditions that usually respond to regular massage treatments are: painful feet, poor blood circulation in lower extremities, joint pain and stiffness, limited range of motion in knees and hip joints due to disuse, lymphatic drainage and paralysis due to strokes.

When you don’t have a lot of time but need some stress relief to your back, head and neck.  On-site chair massage is a great idea for family gatherings, at the office, showers or parties.

SPECIAL TREATMENTS

Lypossage

Lypossage cleanses the body of stagnant, stalled lymphatic fluid that can create the lumps and bulges we know as cellulite.  The deeper Lypossage strokes break up adhesions under the skin that can contribute to the dimpled, uneven appearance of cellulite.  Lypossage tones the muscles, lifting and firming sagging tissue.  Treatment can be selected for the face, torso or hip/thigh area.  The program consists of 18 30-minute treatments to flush toxins from the body.  A free consultation is available to see if you qualify for this dynamic body contouring technique.

Pulsated high-spectrum light treatments provide skin rejuvenation by reducing and improving age spots, blemishes, fine lines, dilated capillaries/Rosacea, cellulite, and sun damaged skin.  Treatments are $2 per minute in 10 minute intervals.

Infant Massage Classes

Infant massage has been practiced since ancient times.  Enjoy bonding with your child while learning techniques which calm your baby, relieve colic and digestion problems and promote sleep.  Classes can be held privately for fathers, mothers and grandparents or in a group setting!
